Cad copy paste problem
in fact I exit the sketch and select the sketch that I want copy form design tree and from the toolbar menu ( edit - copy ) I copied the sketch then I select a plan and click on sketch and when I enter a sketch from the toolbar menu above ( edit-- paste ) I try to paste it but in the toolbar menu the bottom past ( ctrl V) is inactive. When I perform this action, nothing gets pasted to the new drawing, and indeed won't work within the drawing in question either. for copying the drawing from another file ,you can open it and right-click on the sheet of which drawing you had to copy and then select the drawing.then right-click on the drawing,open your file and then paste.then put it wherever you want. I've tried using the CP command, pressing cntrl + c/ cntrl + v, and also selecting the commands from the menuthe problem occurs with all three methods.
Too many constraints will slow down a drawing and stop copy and paste from working. Often these are not visible in the drawing and can be turned on under the Parametric tab on the ribbon. To remove them, select all elements in the drawing and use the DELCON command. Reset the scale list. Use the -SCALELISTEDIT command and choose the Reset option. Like I said earlier, AutoCAD Mech 2010 doesn't have this copy/paste problem with these files. It's only with the 2012 & 2013 AutoCAD Mech versions. Hi all I recently installed my ACAD LT 2012 update but have been having a problem since. If I highlight an object and COPY, then right click elsewhere to PASTE it doesnt allow me to do so, the options are not available to me in the drop down menu. If I leave the grips on the object I just copied

If you want to copy and paste objects between different drawings while maintaining the copied objects original coordinates into the new drawing you need to use the “insert file’ command. As the drawings were originally created in Solidworks the the Autodesk HOTFIX is not an option for you but I would you suggest that you download a copu of DwgTrueview and use the convert option which is a tried and trusted way to sort out the problem.
